Program Objective

The Home Patient Care Program aims to train healthcare technicians who can provide patient-centered, ethical, and high-quality care; apply their theoretical knowledge to practice; effectively utilize health technologies; are sensitive to the changing health needs of the community and sectoral developments; embrace lifelong learning; participate in interdisciplinary teamwork; and possess developed professional responsibility and communication skills.

To train health technicians who can transfer theoretical knowledge into practice and provide patient-centered, qualified care services in the field of home patient care.

To train graduates who provide services based on professional ethics, respect for human and patient rights, and sensitivity to cultural values.

PEO 3: To Train Individuals Open to Continuous Development and Learning

To train individuals who keep their professional knowledge and skills up to date, adopt lifelong learning as a principle, and adapt to digital health technologies.

PEH 1: Identifies problems by using the theoretical knowledge acquired in the field of home patient care, develops solution plans based on appropriate data, and applies them.

PEH 2: Takes an effective role in care services for special groups such as children, pregnant women, patients, elderly individuals, and individuals with disabilities, and contributes to these services.

PEH 3: Evaluates the physical, psychological, social, and economic conditions of the individuals served; makes protective and restorative plans and provides guidance.

PEH 4: Provides services in accordance with patient privacy and ethical principles; has knowledge of professional legal regulations.

PEH 5: Uses digital technologies and professional software effectively in health services.

PEH 6: Understands the importance of teamwork in home care services and can work harmoniously with interdisciplinary teams.

PEH 7: Evaluates the quality and outcomes of care services together with the healthcare team and contributes to improvement processes.

PEH 8: Adopts lifelong learning, follows scientific resources, and maintains professional development.
